Heart Of Darkness April 3rd 2010 Presents: Bloody Fool

Step into the tentage this April for a variety of vaudevillain proportions as the Singapore Dark Alternative Movement brings you the Heart Of Darkness event at Six. Your eyes are not deceiving you, it is still the same haunt opposite Clarke Quay MRT located at the top level SAFRA Gamehaven but with an enhancement that will leave you spellbound even before stepping into the establishment. As with our circus of horrors theme, let ringmasters Mentor (X'Ho), Saito Nagasaki (Aesgrade) and Ghoul unleash the beast known as Death Rock as the main attraction for the night and spinning the likes of Specimen, .45 Grave, Alien Sex Fiend among others. So walk the tightrope and be part of the insane clown posse for a night that does not require a gypsy to tell you that it will make you scream in horror, for it is Bloody Fool after all

With the Tiger coming into prominence once more, it is time for us to
bare our stripes with pride and be adulated in the eyes of many as the
Singapore Dark Alternative Movement presents Heart of Darkness, with
streaks of the Orient running across March at NOVA. Parade in your
finest threads from the East as we set the trail blazing with the likes
of DJs Mentor, Murderfreak and Saito as they bring you music from VNV
Nation, Combichrist and even hints of Visual Kei. In additon, prizes
will be given to the best dressed reveller for the night so turn up in
your cheongsams and kimonos to stand a chance to shine under the
moonlight. As they may say, the sun rises in the East but it sets when
the Heart Of Darkness ascends for everyone to come out party the night
away

Understanding the way Electronic Body Music (EBM) works isn't just about listening to
songs on your music player or spend hours reading up on its colourful history; You have
to be in the environment in order to get the best results and the Singapore Dark
Alternative Movement (SDAM) will facilitate that very need in order to Get Your Body
Beat. In conjunction with International EBM Day on 24/2, SDAM shall transplant the
whole EBM experience into Hyde and provide that vital valve to accomodate your
tachycardia in order to party the night away with our DJs on tow to dish out thumping
beats from the likes of Suicide Commando, Grendel and Neuroticfish. With an
environment fit for a feast and enough to work up a sweat, apprenhension is eliminated
once you step into Hyde, Get Your Body Beat with the lights bestowing solely onto you
and an unforgettable night that will leave you raving for weeks

International EBM Day 24/2

Beats, lights and a whole lot of action are just some of the descriptions given to a genre known for its unbridled vigour and on 24th Feb, the world celebrates the inception of Electronic Body Music(EBM).

But before you decide to head to the nearest video sharing website to learn more about it and waste valuable time trying to cram the knowledge into your head, let us save you the hassle as the Singapore Dark Alternative Movement (SDAM) presents to you our very own International EBM Day celebration right here in Singapore for its infancy year. Your class for the night will be held Eski Bar for a lesson in EBM 101 as we turn into educators and impart you with our knowledge with artistes such as Front 242, Apotygma Bezerk and Combichrist through the use of visuals, audio and most importantly, friends. 

Forget black for once, turn up in your neon glory and get lost in the thumping beats as we escape the detention of reality and run riot with a drink at hand and our fists pumped to the sky as we honour EBM Day the only way we know how. 

Watch for this space for more details, there might be a special surprise for all revellers after 11pm to release that pent up energy and party till late
